It will keep the community running forever. GHW also implemented some featured to keep this in check.

a.) After receiving Help, a Participant is given a maximum of 3days to make another Pledge to Provide Help. If no new pledge is made after 3 days from receiving help, the system will commence debiting of your Credibility score. Please note that accounts with credibility score of zero(0) will be automatically blocked. All we need in this community are people who are active and have the Mind Set to Give and in turn Receive. We need people that will make this community last forever.

b.) When a Participant makes a Pledge to Provide Help of $100 for Example; his/her next Pledge to Provide Help will not go below the Previous Help provided. It can only be the same or higher. This will keep the Community Growing instead of being setback by people who will give help of $1,000 for example and after Getting Help of $1,500 they decide to Provide Help of $10 in their next Pledge. Such doesn’t work here on GHW

c.) Feel the joy of giving when you see the face of who you are Providing Help to. This will help Participants make friends all over the World. A Real Social Financial Platform with Sincere people Changing Lives, Changing Nations and Changing the World.

Rapper Kid Cudi is having a mental breakdown..his babymama got a restraining order against him

Last week, rapper Kid Cudi called out Kanye West and Drake and made a few bizarre statements. It's now being reported that he's having a difficult time right now. According to reports, Kid Cudi s in the midst of a mental breakdown - caused by mental health issues and drugs.

His baby mama is now so scared of him, she got a restraining order against him.

Below is what is being reported:

Cudi allegedly texted her in excess of 168 messages – between August 11th and 14th – in which he threatened to call child services on her and that he was going to “send the guy to stand by my house” and that she was “so gross and sick n the head” and “ain’t sh*t” and he was going to serve her with legal papers because he was seeking sole custody of their daughter.

Jacqueline says the rapper demanded parenting time with their daughter during time that she already informed him she would be spending with their child. She claims despite him being in Chicago for Lollapalooza, he never contacted her to see their child.

She says that he also threatened to go to the news and contact outlets and even threatened that he would create a Twitter hashtag “Justice for Vada” (his daughter’s name) and would blast it on social media for months and even make t-shirts. She explains his previous negative tweets about her have caused his millions of fans to suggest violence against her.

She accuses him of threatening her for no reason and says he berates and mocks her. He sent messages calling her a “fat f*ck”, “*sshole” and told her.

Cudi also demanded that his daughter not have any photos taken unless she was onstage at his concert. Further, when she went to her father’s funeral in Ohio, he sent a series of messages about Vada having played Pokeman with her older cousin to which he said “Vada hanging around a bunch of white people is not what I want either” and “Vada don’t look like anyone in your family.”

She told him the messages were insensitive and hurtful, to which he called her too sensitive. Jacqueline accuses the rapper of not even exercising his parenting time and when he does, he doesn’t follow the court order.

A judge granted Jacqueline an order of protection against Kid Cudi which will stay in effect until August 18th 2017.

Paralympian with no arms plays Ping Pong with his mouth

The Olympics offered up some truly inspirational moments—and some rather embarrassing ones, too.

But for every drunken Ryan Lochte fairy tale or safety oversight or shameful officiating decision, there was someone overcoming incredible odds, tying the knot, or doing the unthinkable.

But no Olympian is even half as inspiring as Paralympian Ibrahim Hamato of Egypt.

At the age of 10, Hamato lost both his arms in a train accident.

Now 41, he’s a nationally ranked Para table tennis player competing in the Rio Paralympics; he uses his mouth to hold his paddle and his foot to toss the ball in the air for his serve.

I did not sell my body to become beauty queen — Ayanfe falana

Ayanfe Falana is the Head Queen of the Most Beautiful Girl in Eko Beauty Pageant sponsored by Ereon Pageantry. The Ekiti State-born 19-year-old political science student of the University of Lagos shares her experience on how she became a beauty queen. Excerpts:
•Ayanfe Falana

Have you always nursed the idea of being a beauty queen? Being a beauty queen is something I had always wanted to be. It is like a dream come true. It was something I wanted to do right from when I was in high school. I wanted to be a model. I wanted to give back to the society. Being a beauty queen can give me the platform to do what I want to do.

Why beauty queen? You could have chosen to be something else… I have always loved cat walking. I would stand in front of the mirror to do cat walk and act like a queen. So I knew modeling was something I had always wanted to do. Wanting to be a beauty queen was something I wanted to be right from when I was a child.

Growing up, was this something your parents encouraged? With my two parents being in the ministry, I can imagine what a lot of people would have thought. My parents being enlightened helped me a lot because, if they were not enlightened, they would not have allowed me do it. They knew I was passionate about it, so they had to give me their support.

Did you think you stood a chance of winning the MBGE Pageantry? I am a positive thinker. Even if I knew I was not going to be among the top five, I was never going to think negatively. I always told myself that the other contestants may look more beautiful, but it was not just about beauty and I am not a dullard, so I would not give up. Besides, I am a prayerful person; so looking at those other contestants, I felt they had one head like me; so why couldn’t I win?

Why did you choose MBGE as opposed to other pageants? I chose MBGE because it was available at that point. My friends told me about it; so I did my research online. I loved the fact that it promotes African culture. Every contestant had to represent her state, so it gave me a platform to represent my state which I did. It is not the kind of pageant that has to do with wearing bikini.

What was your parents reaction when you told them you were going for this pageant…? Their reaction was not really so bad because, for me, it was a dream come true. All they had to do was to tell me, be careful. That if I thought this was not going to work, I should not go for it. A bikini pageant has never been my thing and they knew it. So all they had to do in the long run was to give me their support.

Coming into the competition and seeing your counterparts, did you ever think you stood a chance? Even if I knew I was not as beautiful or as outspoken as the others were, I wouldn’t give myself a chance to wear myself down. Not until the very point I would have heard I was not the winner would I have given up. So, looking at the contestants did not freak me because I knew what it took and that was why I was there. If I knew I was not capable, I would not have contested. I looked at them and looked at myself, I knew I had what it takes.

What was unique about MBGE? MBGE Pageant is trademarked. I would not want to go for a pageant that is not going to stand. I love what they are promoting. All of these encouraged me to go for the pageant. With most pageants, people believe being a beauty queen means you coming out half clad. They want to see your shape but that should not be what is important in pageantry. MBGE now coming out to say you do not have to be naked to win makes it unique.

What were the criteria used in selecting the winner? For the judges, it was 50, while for the camp, it was also 50. The characters of contestants played a big role in what was used to judge us. Many of the judges knew what went on in camp, so, looking at the contestants come out on the run way and answering the questions correctly did not give us all the points because we were also graded right from when we were in camp.

If you do not possess the character of a leader, then you cannot be a queen. You do not know how to talk politely, your manners of approach is nothing to write home about, a lot of the other contestants felt proud and these were all things that were taken into consideration in camp. What made you stand out from the other contestants? I stood out because I was on my best behaviour right from when we were in camp. I had to follow the criteria. I was as open as I could be to every body and as active as I could be. I followed instructions and answered my questions correctly.

How have you been able to cope? I have been trying to cope well seeing that this is what I signed up for. There may be tough times ahead but I know these are things I will cross when I get there.

What would you like your successor to remember you for …. I would not want to be like a president that makes promises and cannot fulfil them. I want to be a queen who will make a difference. I have things I am really going to be focused for. I also want to throw out opportunities out there. If you fail, try again.

All pageants are not the same. You do not have to sell your body to be a beauty queen. I did not sell my body to be a beauty queen. If it does not work, try again. Pet projects…… My main focus will be on orphanages. There are rich orphanages and poor ones which people do not even remember.

Orphanages are meant for people to go and adopt children but right now people do not even want to go there either because of the poor state of the orphanages or the bureaucracy involved.

How can the government be of help in sustaining beauty pageants? A lot of these pageants are not duly registered yet they get funding’s from government. Whereas pageants that go through the right channels in ensuring that they are properly registered and have trade marks are not acknowledged. These are issues government needs to address so they can step in and give assistance to those pageants which have trade marks.

What is the MBGE Pageant all about? MBGE is an acronym for Most Beautiful Girl in Eko . It is a non-bikini pageant. The main objective is to promote and preserve Africa culture for future generations. Pageants that promote western cultures and bikini are from Europe and United States. Many Nigerian pageants that do not have trade mark copy western and bikini pageants which is unAfrican and are now retracing their steps by promoting Africa. It is all about enlightenment and exposure.

Basic Education: Commissioner emphasises periodic training of teachers

The Enugu State Commissioner for Education, Prof. Uche Eze, has stressed the need for constant and periodic training of teachers toward the development of basic education system in the state.

The commissioner said this in an interview in Enugu on Wednesday. He said that the training would expose teachers to the various teaching techniques and skills.

Eze added that the government would soon send teachers to the Nigeria Teachers Institute (NTI) for retraining so as to improve their knowledge and skill, in conformity with modern day realities. He also stressed the need to motivate teachers in order to enhance their efficiency, boost their moral and enthrone competition among them.

Delta school

He noted that “it is widely said that any system without reward will not bring out the best among the manpower that make up the system. “Government must pay attention to rewarding teachers as this will encourage them in the task of impacting knowledge to our children.

“The issue of welfare packages to teachers, especially those in basic education can never be overemphasized.”

The commissioner said that the state government had concluded arrangements for prompt payment of teachers’ salaries and allowances so as to avoid incessant industrial action that characterised basic education in some parts of the country.

Eze also said that the state government would ensure that those due for promotion were elevated immediately without delay and their retirement should not be delayed in any form.

“This will go a long way in encouraging those that are still in active service to restore sanity in our basic education system,” he said. He pointed out that one of the greatest problems facing basic education was inadequate funding, adding that currently, the federal and state governments had been collaborating with the Universal Basic Education Board to fund schools through counterpart fund.

He said that the local government areas had been providing educational materials like chalk, pen, pencil, writing materials and some science text books for various schools.

Eze emphasised the need for efficient management of funds and support provided by these government agencies in order to improve the standard and quality of teaching in the country.

Glo’s Professor Johnbull episode 8 :Comedian AY gets bashed by KOK for indecent dressing

Popular comedian, Ayo Makun (AY), and actress Queen Nwokoye earned the fury of Nollywood great Kanayo O. Kanayo (KOK) in Episode 8 of the Globacom-sponsored drama series, Professor Johnbull.

Nwokoye who plays the role of KOK’s daughter was in an unusual position as she was upbraided by his father, a rare occurrence in the sitcom. She incurred his anger for fraternizing with “ill-dressed” AY who made a cameo appearance in the episode dedicated to exposing indecent dressing in the society.

KOK who stars as moralistic Professor Johnbull was shocked to find his daughter in his son, Churchill’s room with AY, who played the role of Dudus, a mobile cloth seller.

He was wearing his trousers half way on his thighs in the name of the fashion craze called “sagging”. “What I frown at, you should frown at”, he told Elizabeth who tried to explain she was attracted to AY and just loved his company.

Her pleas to be allowed to “hang out” with him only elicited further rejection from her father. “He is nothing but a common itinerant, nomadic cloth merchant. He is an irresponsible young man”. With that, the professor banished AY from his house.

“I don’t want to see him anywhere within 20 kilometres radius and circumference of my house,” he declared with the tone of finality. “Please, he just wants to take me out. Let me convince myself that he is either good or not good for me.

Please, please,” she begged the father. Professor Johnbull later acceded to Elizabeth’s request to go out on a dinner date with Dudus. The outcome of the date proved the professor right in his stand that people are addressed the way they dress.

Dudus was thoroughly embarrassed as he could not pay the bill, having lost his purse. His pleas fell on deaf ears as the restaurant attendant insisted on collecting her money, declaring she would not be fooled by AY’s “what’s up” antics.

Elizabeth returns home sobbing, confessing to her dad that she should have listened to his advice not to go out with somebody who dressed irresponsibly by exposing his underwear in the name of sagging. She admitted that if Dudus had dressed decently to the restaurant, his story of his misplaced purse would have been believed

•Sean, Rejoice and Nemi with Tony on stage

Show host, Tony Okungbowa had wanted to buy a car, but could not make up his mind on which brand to go for.

He decided to seek some professional advice from his guests, the trio of Nemi, Rejoice and Sean, but his request threw up a collection of bemusing responses and suggestions, expectedly though. Nemi, a seven years old boy advised him to consider the beauty in his choice, an opinion also echoed by nine years Rejoice.

For Sean, he could go for any brand of his choice except that he had to ensure it did not come with any defect. Not done with his earlier suggestion, Nemi also advised him to also consider ‘a car that can drive itself’ preferably made in China.

His advice was quite startling particularly to Rejoice who stared at him unbelievably. Tony’s attempted probe of a possibility of finding such a car in the country and his insistence on buying a made-in-Nigeria car opened a new worldview into the lives of the panelists and their relationships with history.

The audience had a moment of laughter when the kids unanimous mentioned to Tony that such car brands like Land Rover, Ford, Toyota, GMC, Honda and Nissan among others were made in Nigeria.

Kendall and Kylie Jenner get stuck in elevator, panic

On Thursday, Kendall and Kylie Jenner suffered a traumatic ordeal. The ladies were riding in an elevator during New York Fashion Week when tragedy struck. The large metal freight elevator got stuck, trapping them and pals Jordyn Woods and Hailey Baldwin inside.

Naturally, they did the only thing they could think to do -- they opened Snapchat and documented the experience for Kylie's millions of followers. Her fans were able to see the progression from mild amusement to sheer panic.

"So my worst nightmare just happened. We are stuck in the elevator," Kylie narrated one clip while laughing.

Kendall got proactive, trying to fix the door while Kylie showed off her elevator outfit -- a blue mini-dress that she paired with a high blonde ponytail (in case you were wondering).

"I never thought this would actually happen to us," Kylie lamented, distraught by the group's predicament.

Things took a dark turn when the girls realized that supermodel Kendall had eaten their only food -- a Nature Valley granola bar.

"So the only food, we don't know how long we're going to be here, but all the f**king food, you ate it all," Kylie attacked Kendall.

Luckily, they did not have to resort to cannibalism as the fire department arrived just in time to save the day.

The girls got out, snapped a group pic with the first responders, and went on their way. Kylie even poked fun at the situation, posting some paparazzi pics of herself exiting the building with the caption: "Fresh out the elevator like."

The ladies didn't appear too traumatized by the ordeal. Shortly after her heroic escape, Kylie hit the town with her longtime love, Tyga.

To quote Beyonce, "Of course sometimes s**t goes down when there's a billion dollars in the elevator."

He also said he will seek to increase number of US troops and develop the U.S missile defense system, saying cyber security is at it's lowest in the U.S and that America needs to be many steps ahead of enemy countries and ISIS.

NCC seals Nokia office for illegal operation

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) on Wednesday sealed the office of Nokia-Alcatel located in Lekki, Lagos for operating without license.

The Head of Enforcement Unit, NCC, Mr Salisu Abdul, while speaking with newsmen shortly after the sealing in Lagos, said that the company had been operating without license for years.

Abdul said that during one of the commission’s monitoring activities, the team discovered that the company had not obtained the requisite authorisation to render services.

He said that Nokia-Alcatel was involved in equipment manufacturing, supply and installation therefore it could have obtained the “Sale and Installation’’ license.

According to him, the license, which barely cost N2 million will give Nokia the authority to operate wireless transmission, manufacturing and sale of equipment, among others.

He said that after notifying the company for the need to be licensed, it only applied for the license about three months ago, but did not complete the process. ”

As a matter of fairness and transparency, we decided to pay them a visit, and we however discovered that they only applied for license about three months back and are yet to complete the process for the license. ”

Basically, we have decided to seal off the premises of Nokia until it obtains the requisite authorisation. ”The NCC is the sole regulator of the telecom sector in Nigeria and one of our functions is the issuance of telecom licenses. ”

It is criminal for any service provider to operate in the country without license. We have sealed the office until they comply,” Abdul said. He said that Nokia-Alcatel had been operating in the country for some years now, and had failed to obtain license.

According to him, there may be attendant consequence for the infraction as the company may be fined before its office will be opened for business. ”

We have to charge them based on the number of years they have operated without license. We will use our discretion to charge them,” he said.
